Parc de Grand Rullecourt Ouest 1

Grand Rullecourt Ouest 1 commenced operations in July 2019 with 4.1 MW of Senvion turbine capacity, further developing Virya Energy’s (ex-Eurowatt) wind energy cluster in the Grand-Rullecourt area. This installation complements existing projects in the vicinity, creating synergies in operations and maintenance while strengthening the local renewable energy infrastructure. The Senvion turbines deployed here are well-suited to the site’s wind profile, which features moderate to strong winds throughout most of the year. Virya Energy’s clustered development strategy in Grand-Rullecourt demonstrates the economic and operational advantages of concentrating wind assets in areas with proven resources and supportive communities.
