Parc de la Croix Noire 1 [Grand-Rullecourt Est]

The Croix Noire 1 wind farm, operational since April 2017, represents Virya Energy’s (ex-Eurowatt) commitment to developing the Grand-Rullecourt area’s wind resources with 12.3 MW of Senvion capacity. This installation benefits from the Artois region’s excellent wind regime, characterized by steady Atlantic air flows that provide consistent generation potential year-round. Extensive collaboration with Grand-Rullecourt’s municipal authorities ensured the project aligned with local development plans and objectives. The Senvion turbines feature advanced monitoring systems that optimize performance while enabling rapid response to grid requirements, enhancing overall system reliability.
