Orla
The Orla wind farm, operational in Northern Poland’s Pomeranian Voivodeship, represents 37.5 MW of Virya Energy’s (ex-Eurowatt) renewable capacity in Poland. Initially developed through a partnership structure that included Eurowatt alongside Momentum Capital, Nordex, and Winergy, this installation demonstrates successful international collaboration in renewable energy development. The project benefited from European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) financing, highlighting its strategic importance for Poland’s energy transition. Located in a region with favorable Baltic wind conditions, the Orla wind farm contributes significantly to reducing Poland’s carbon footprint while supporting the country’s goals to diversify away from coal-based electricity generation. Virya Energy’s involvement in Orla established the foundation for expanded operations in Central and Eastern Europe.
