Nestle Surat

Through its subsidiary Constant Energy, Virya Energy has successfully developed a pioneering hybrid solar installation at Nestle’s Surat Thani factory in Thailand. Commissioned in December 2022, the 1.7 MW project combines rooftop and floating solar technologies, representing one of Thailand’s first such hybrid installations.

The project, which powers Nestle’s drinking water production facility, demonstrates Virya Energy’s innovative approach to renewable energy solutions in Southeast Asia. Through Constant Energy’s zero-capex model, the installation delivers significant environmental benefits, reducing CO2 emissions by 975 tons annually. This project is part of a broader partnership with Nestle that includes five solar installations across Thailand, showcasing Virya Energy’s commitment to supporting major industrial clients in achieving their sustainability goals.
