Parc du Bois Clergeons

The Bois Clergeons wind farm, one of Virya Energy’s (ex-Eurowatt) pioneering projects commissioned in January 2006, features 11.5 MW of Nordex turbine capacity. This early installation demonstrated the viability of wind energy in the region nearly two decades ago and continues to deliver reliable renewable electricity. The site’s location benefits from consistent wind patterns typical of the French interior, while the Nordex turbines were selected for their robustness and low-maintenance characteristics. Community engagement from the project’s inception ensured local acceptance and established a foundation for future renewable energy developments in the area.
