A major Danish pharmaceutical group is expanding its production site in Chartres (28) to increase its manufacturing capacity. Virya Solutions France is installing a 634 kWp rooftop photovoltaic plant on the newly built facilities. Most of the electricity generated will be self-consumed on site. Two mounting systems are used, ballasted and welded, depending on the roof structure. Each of the 1,410 panels is equipped with a micro‑inverter. The installation will follow the building construction works starting in March 2025 and will be ready for commissioning in summer 2026.
