Voie des Pretres

The Voie des Prêtres wind farm, commissioned in April 2023, represents another significant renewable energy project in Eurowatt’s portfolio, a company wholly owned by Virya Energy. Located in Fontaine-lès-Croisilles in northern France, the facility consists of 10 Vestas V126 turbines with a total installed capacity of 36 MW.

The wind farm will generate 91.7 million kWh annually, providing clean electricity equivalent to the consumption of 84,360 people. The project contributes significantly to regional decarbonization efforts, avoiding 89,252 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually compared to coal-fired generation. This development strengthens Virya Energy’s presence in the French renewable energy market through Eurowatt, which now operates 32 onshore wind farms with a total capacity of 327 MW primarily in the Hauts-de-France region.
